I'd like to say a very special "Thank You", to everyone who helped make the inaugural Pink Ribbon Charity Fair a hugely successful day, with an incredible $13,000 being raised for Cancer Council Queensland.
Our Fair was a first for Mackay - there's never been a fair held in Mackay for Cancer Council QLD before, what a marvellous fun day for the families, with something of interest for all ages. The entertainers were wonderful, we had singers, belly dancers, a local dance school put on a lovely display and the biggest hit with the kids was a visit from Elmo and Syd Seagull!!! interesting stalls, fun rides for the kids and the food was great too.
